Trainee- HR Operations Specialist

Role and Responsibilities:
The Trainee – HR Operations Specialist will be a competent and resourceful individual with a passion for HRD. The objective is to ensure that the HR department’s operations and people development aspects will be running smoothly and effectively to deliver maximum value to the organization as a whole. The role as an HR Generalist will be far from one-dimensional; and will undertake a wide range HRD and people related activities. This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated, self-directed individual to gain valuable HR experience in a fast-paced, dynamic, high-tech organization. The key responsibilities may include, but not limited to, are:
- Accelerate talent acquisition by assisting for the ongoing recruitment requisites, pre-hiring assessments and interviews, and increasing engagements on job portals and social media etc.
- Systemize HR Records repositories, and evolve indexing process for rapid retrievals, and audit for consistency, completeness, and correctness
- Be a story teller, with business acumen, preparing to translate the organization’s purpose, vision, mission, strategic intents/aims, values, and business context, into inspiring stories, and positioning HR policies and activities to best serve the organization’s interests which are people centric and performance centric
- Accelerate Digital integration i.e. leverage technology to increase efficiency and effectiveness to drive HR positivity and business value. Be passionate about all things HR tech, always willing to try new technology and not afraid to question existing solutions, and able to get all stakeholders on board when it comes to the implementation and use of new systems/solutions HR Data Analytics: collate, structure datasets for HR functional aspects, people inclusivity factors, capability, capacity and performance related data, so to create progress reports and dashboards, and communicate data into valuable information to influence decision-making processes
- Support HR Dept in Process Automations initiatives, and may utilize MS Office related automation and macro writing possibilities, to templatize and make day to day works more efficient, so that it take less time to prepare reports and there more time for analysis
- Be a People’s champion: support building a strong internal culture, which is engaging+ enabling+ exciting+ empowering, and create impactful internal communications, so to inspire people to be at their best people, and creating an environment of collaboration and trust
- Leverage systems and technology, for increasing HR operational efficiencies and effectiveness of various HR systems like Human Resource Management System (HRMS), Application Tracking Systems (ATS), On-Line Assessments System, Learning Management Systems (LMS), etc.
- Be a brand builder i.e. understand people pulse to help in differentiating the employer brand. Use new media to connect with employees, potential employees, and with opinion leaders.
- Make sense of the workplace dynamics, and communicate to simplify and explain existing or new policies, to increase overall understanding of positive changes. Build quality communicative connections with employees and be an impactful influencer
- Conduct surveys, quizzes, and demonstrate listening, to increase people inclusivity, innovations, and drive positive cultural shifts.
- Create aspiration for learning and development initiatives to accelerate people capability development through knowledge sharing, increasing participation in training programs and people development initiatives. Pursue Learning and Development initiatives

General Requirements:
- BBA/BMS/BA candidates, with demonstrable tech savviness; or B.Sc. – Computer Science, Information Technology; with demonstrable interest in HRD functions
- Additional relevant certifications in organizational development, human resource development, change management, etc., preferred (or be willing to learn and utilize)
- Freshers with typical 3 to 6 months relevant internship experience preferred
- Good understanding of people motivators, personality types, behavioural assessments
- Good organizational skills and a keen attention to detail; and the ability to work effectively and manage a varied workload
- Understanding of Lean and quality tools for process improvements, statistical concepts and analysis, will be preferred
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate effectively across the organization with various teams, and management
- Strong Interpersonal skills; and ability to effectively influence and develop strong relationships with key stakeholders;
- Strong MS – Office skills, along with business storytelling and graphical visualization abilities
- Demonstrate customer centricity with willingness to support both internal and external customers; and ability to maintain the high level of discretion, diplomacy and confidentiality
- Tech-Savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office automations (e.g. excel macros etc.)
- Ability to maintain the highest level of discretion, diplomacy and confidentiality.
- Eagerness to learn, develop and grow with the business; and is contributions-focused
